Devinette, the interschool quiz competition was conducted on Wednesday 9th October 2025 at Dr Joseph Mar Thoma Auditorium. Ramu N Bhattathiri was the quiz master. 28 teams attended the prelims which was held in STCS library. 6 teams were selected for the final competition. Cash prizes and trophies were distributed to the winners. Dakshin Chandra C G(12) and Akarsh S Nair (11) of St Marys Residential Central School, Poojapura were the winners. Our school came in the second position and the team members were Shalom Daniel Kuruvilla-12H and Aalap Parte-12A and Christ Nagar Higher Secondary school, Kowdiar came in the third position

STCS Girls Basketball Team emerged the Overall Champions in the South Zone Sahodaya Complex Basketball Tournament.

"The South Zone Sahodaya Excellence Awards 2025 was held with grandeur and dignity at St. Thomas Central School, Thiruvananthapuram, honouring the exceptional achievements of students of 68 schools under SZSC. The prestigious event was graced by Shri G. R. Anil, Hon’ble Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Government of Kerala, as the Chief Guest, and Smt. Adeela Abdulla IAS, Managing Director of KSIDC, as the Guest of Honour. Both dignitaries lauded the efforts of the academic community in nurturing responsible and talented citizens of tomorrow. Fr.Joshy Mathew,President SZSC, Mr.Varghese Samuel, Principal, St.Thomas Central School (Vice President,SZSC), Mrs.Sreekala P K, Secretary, SZSC and Mrs.Sindhu S, Treasurer SZSC graced the occasion. Meritorious students from Classes X & XII across South Zone CBSE schools were awarded for their academic brilliance. School heads and educators who have made exemplary contributions to the field of education were also felicitated."
